LOS ANGELES (AP) - Southern California basketball player Brynn Cameron will miss the upcoming season because she is expecting a baby with Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart, according to her father.

Cameron is due to deliver a boy in November, Stan Cameron told the Ventura County Star for Wednesday's editions.

Cameron, a 20-year-old junior guard, and Leinart dated while he attended USC. He graduated in December and was drafted by the Cardinals in April.

Asked Wednesday about Cameron, Leinart said, "I'm not going to comment."

This is Matt Leinart. He is a rookie quarterback for The Buzzsaw That Is Arizona Cardinals, though he is perhaps better known for his career at the University of Southern California, where he was a Heisman trophy and 1.5 national championships.

Here's another thing about him: He's a bit of a ladies man. He hangs out with Nick Lachey, he parties at fancy New York nightclubs, he even apparently -- agh -- dates Paris Hilton. He's a hotshot Hollywood kid ... ladies love him, guys wanna be him ... you know, all that stuff.

And ... well, it looks like he's going to be a father.

Well then. Doing the math here ... Leinart was spotted leaving Hilton's house very early in the morning last May ... it's now September ... oh, dear

Paris Hilton infamously has been on record saying she's going to be celibate for the next year; she said that several months ago so I just BET Matt has moved on from there.

I watch E News waaayyy too much. :)

From a feminine viewpoint she's a cute girl. I don't get the bird comment but that's just me.

I imagine if he's got a decent bone in his body he will take care of his own child. Hopefully he will be involved in the child's life as well.
 
Everyone having fun bashing professionals because of their personal problems? I kind of missed the part where this event affects me directly. Like a majority of the people I would hope he decides to take care of the child, but I can't make the choice for him, nor could I do anything about it if he decided not to.
 
Financially, this child will be taken care of, that is a given. That is how are society plays the game.

Matt, get your checkbook out, because you are paying this gal some serious coin for the next 18 or so years.
 
he will pay, but off topic here.. I get mad at Dads in the world that don't pay. I mean were is th e pride of having a child. so what if you can't stand the mom, it is the child that needs to be taken care of.. but that is me.
