NFL Player Cracks Head Open With Helmet

Seattle Seahawks fullback Owen Schmitt is used to dishing out punishment to opponents on the football field, but the three-year veteran inadvertently took out his aggression on himself before Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Schmitt was so pumped up for the game that he pounded his helmet into his forehead several times after coming out of the tunnel in pregame introductions ( see video below ). Schmitt then ran into the middle of his teammates with blood covering his entire face and whipped them into a frenzy.

A lot of aggression there. Seems to me that he might be putting himself on the fast track for a random test from the NFL.
 
Having one crazy player on the team wouldn't be so bad...if he helped motivate the Seahawks into shutting out the Jags...I would love to have 3-4 players like him on the Raiders & Texans :cool:.
 
when Kevin Greene was with the 49ers, he was injured one week, while on the sideline, after a big play the defense came off the field and Greene ( who was not wearing a helmet) headbutted a player (who was wearing a helmet), he split his forehead open. Man I love the intensity that some players show.

Wonder what it must feel like to root for a team that has that kind of intensity.
