Cheap Jerseys?

Does anybody know a good place to get Jerseys (Replica) cheaper than the usual $70.

The only discounted Jerseys I can find are Carr Jerseys. By the way who wants a Carr Jersey for $30, they won't sell for $1, what makes them think they'll get $30?

The retails stores have them more affordable too...Macy's downtown had the jerseys for $40.00 just last week....as the season winds down, NFL products go on sale.

I can vouch for specialjersey. It seems fake, and they are technically "knock offs" (I think), but I've ordered 4 jerseys from them for myself and friends, and they are nicer than the authentic ones I"ve purchased directly from the NFL shop

I can vouch for specialjersey...

Who?

I think I'm done with the replicas (painted numbers). I think I may start looking for these knockoff authentics and perhaps replace with my name... unless they're a proven player with the team for a while.

I can vouch for this company. I bought a really nice Demeco jersey for $49 plus shipping (roughly $55 total). The quality is excellent. It has sewn on numbers and name. It is a good quality jersey for a fraction of what the retailers want. It may take 2 or 3 weeks to receive it.

I got my authentic Andre Johnson jersey off of Ebay for $56. You gotta know how to spot a bootleg. I compared mine to the ones in the mall and far as i can tell its legit.

There are some obv bootlegs out there though that claim to be an auth jersey. Look at the number style, and don't bid on any white jersey w/ red lettering on the back. small stuff like that.

But if you look i am sure you will find someone that is reputable selling auth jerseys, and these usually go for about 40-70 bucks on ebay.

The ones at Trader's Village look gawd awful....so don't buy em from there.

Actually, most all of the "authentics" on ebay that are selling below $200 are bootlegs. Some are just better than others. I bought a Mario and Eli Manning (white with red letters, no problem with that) jersey off ebay for around $40 each. The numbers are correct, etc. The only real difference is the thickness of the shoulder pad area and the thickness of the material used to make the numbers. However from appearance they both look legit. They are by far better than those cheap replicas that the NFL peddles.

I wonder when the NFL is really going to go after these guys. I know many are overseas so I don't know what the NFL can do however I am seeing "ebay authentics" all over NFL stadiums these days.

There are several ways to distinguish authentic jerseys from replicas. Obviously sewn on names and numbers are the first thing people think of. But other ones to look for are:

1. Shoulders are double lined on authentics
2. The NFL logo on the neck should say "Equipment"
3. Sizes should read 52, 54, 56 etc.
4. Sleeves should be the same material as the shoulders, that is to say they shouldn't be mesh.
5. Items on the sleeves should not be printed (i.e. stripes)
6. Keep in mind that Reebok does make 'Replica' jerseys too.

Just a few tips. You can research more detailed items.
