i had to eenie meenie that one.

Cincinnati matches up very well with Baltimore. In 2005 they swept them, and last season they would have were it not for 2 bonehead turnovers in the first minute and a half that spotted the Ravens a 14-0 lead. As you will recall, the Bengals almost came back to win that one.

I think the score in this one is 24-17, Cincinnati.

Home teams will dominate week 1, I guarantee it.

I gave the Browns the win over the Steelers for two reasons.

1) Ben Rottenburger will throw the game away
2) If the Browns get behind, Brady Quinn will come in and save the day

True story.

TexanSam started a group...It's on the Tailgate page...

I've created a Survival Football group on Yahoo. All you do is pick one team a week that you think will win. If you get it right, you get to pick again the following week. If you get it wrong, you're eliminated. I don't think I've ever gotten past week 6 or 7 myself.

Group Name: Texans MB
ID# 16312
Password: jacoby

I've also created a Pick'em group. You just pick which teams you think will win each week. No elimination on this one!

New Orleans at Indianapolis
This is a tough one to call, probably the hardest on the board. Im personally of the opinion that this is the year the house of cards falls down for the colts. They have no defense, and Harrison is losing steps. On the other hand, I think last years saint's team was a fluke. We all know I hate Reggie, but I think Duece has one more year in him, and devery henderson will be a suprise stud. My pick....New Orleans.

Philadelphia at Green Bay
Lets be real here. We all want brett favre to retire. Badly. He plays the game. Badly. Donovan will be healthy for week 1. If this were a week 2 game, I might question it. Lambeau won't be cold enough to be a factor, and green bay doesn't really have any running backs since we stole ahman. My pick.....Philidelphia

Atlanta at Minnesota
I think Atlanta won't be as bad as generally assumed by most, but the bottom line is, they won't have an answer for Adrian Peterson. My pick....Minnesota

Miami at Washington
Yay! Trent Green! Jason Campbell! If there is an unwatchable game on this schedule, this is it. Rule of thumb..if 2 teams suck equally, take the home team. My pick....Washington.

New England at N.Y. Jets
New England is stacked. New England is a beast. I hate new england, but lets be real. My pick.....New England.

Tennessee at Jacksonville
David Garrard? Are you kidding me? Jacksonville is an old team. Tennessee wins this one, easy. My pick.....Tennessee.

Denver at Buffalo
I like Marshawn Lynch and lee evans, and I hate Jay Cutler. My pick......Buffalo

Pittsburghat Cleveland
God help you Cleveland. My pick...Pittsburgh.

Carolina at St. Louis
They are seriously considering David Carr. Carolina is in trouble. My pick....St. Louis.

Tampa Bay at Seattle
Seattle. Tampa is going to suck again this year. They know it. I know it. We all know it. My pick....Seattle.

Chicago at San Diego
The other fun game on the schedule. As the huge financial bath i took on the super bowl taught me, never bet on rex grossman. And Lt is on my fantasy team. My pick.....San Diego

Detroitat Oakland
Oakland=le suck. My pick...Detroit???? this game might actually end in a tie.

N.Y. Giants at Dallas
Nobody, and i mean NOBODY is more overrated this year then Dallas. My pick....New York Football Giants

Baltimore at Cincinnati
Willis McGahee is the difference here. MY pick...Baltimore

Arizona at San Francisco
I hate both of these franchises equally. My pick....san francisco

Kansas City at Houston

I will be there....we will triumph! Go TEXANS!
