Ravens Stadium Has Synthetic Field

The 2010 NFL Players Survey basically showed that over 85% of players feel that synthetic turf leads to more injuries than grass. This is consistent with these surveys that go back a decade.

Previous NFL record reviews have shown that there is a greater than 85% higher incidence of ACL tears alone on synthetic turf, and anywhere from 30%-50% higher risk of lower extremity injuries.

The Ravens stadium is synthetic. We have a heck of alot of players that are already trying to see their way through lower extremity maladies..............Here's hoping that we come out of this game safely.......and not looking like this.

HAs to be better than Astroturf. I played on that stuff in high school and college. It has always defined immense pain for me.

Slide almost 10 yeards on your bare stomach in a down pouring rain on Astroturf. You wont complain about anything again...

There's no substitute for grass. Even bad grass is better than that synthetic stuff.

Patriots have an open stadium too and I think they have field turf or whatever it's called.
