NFL Week 8

Congrats guys, was pulling for the Titans this week for obvious reasons ;). Hopefully you guys can capitalize on this and get a win on Monday night.

Thank you, San Diego!

A loss for the Titans. Not that I cheer for anyone to be injured, but I'll also note that VY re-injured his ankle and Kenny Britt went out with a hammy.

Can you tell me what happened? Does it look bad? I had to go for a bit and while I'm happy we are up 23-3, losing Aso would really **** up the rest of my day.
He was runnng stride for stride with the reciever and he lunged at the ball... twisting on his ankle at full speed. It didn't look good. He was in OBVIOUS extreme pain and was CLUTCHING his ankle.

I hope he's ok!

The MNF game is for sole possession of the AFC South lead. That's all you can ask for.

**** , this team can't afford to lose Aso especially now with our 2 game win streak. I'm hoping its not too bad, but I have a gut feeling he'll be out for a while. If he is, teams will have a field day passing on us.

Update:
Patriots.....(6-1)
Jets.........(5-2)
Steelers....(5-2)
Ravens......(5-2)
Chiefs.......(5-2)
Titans.......(5-3)
================
Texans......(4-2)
Colts.........(4-2)
Dolphins....(4-3)
Raiders.....(4-4)
Jaguars.....(4-4)
Chargers...(3-5)
Bengals.....(2-5)
Browns.....(2-5)
Broncos....(2-6)
Bills.........(0-7)

Quick reason why we shouldn't be too worried about how other teams do right now: Steelers, Jets & Titans all lost today. The only two teams ahead of Houston that won were the Patroits & Chiefs. The Chiefs didn't look good against the Bills, and the Patroits looked beatable against the Vikings.

The Texans are back in first. Titans drop two slots down to third place. They may have one more win but it's calculated by winning percentage.

So if the season ended RIGHT THIS MINUTE... we meeting expectations...

I put the Titans ahead because they have more wins. The winner of the game tomorrow will move ahead of the Titans while the other team will be half a game back. So the Titans are in 2nd IMO.

IMO all you want. You would still be wrong.

You can quit worrying about the Chiefs. They'll get a slot because of their division. No way two teams from the west get in the play offs.

I think we still need to worry some. Right now, it's about not digging ourselves in a hole we can't dig out of. Patriots, Jets, Miami, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, & (I still believe Cincinnati) can all win 10 games. The Jags too (they get the Bills & Cleveland to our Jets & Baltimore).

Can't fall behind because our schedule doesn't get any easier.

VY got hurt again. Looks like an ankle injury. Collins is in now.

Watching the game here.

610 and other media report that VY has incurred an ankle injury IN ADDITION to his previous left knee injury. The truth is that shortly after the initial knee injury was revealed, VY was found to have also sustained a left ankle injury. Yesterday's injury is a REINJURY to that same left ankle.

As of Today

Patriots---------0.857
Baltimore-------0.714
NYJets----------0.714
Pittsburgh------0.714
Kansas City----0.714
Houston--------0.667
=========================
Indianapolis----0.667
Tennessee------0.625

Oakland.--------0.500
Jacksonville-----0.500

Buffalo----------0.000

We still have games left against the Teams in red.

What am I wrong about? The Titans will be in 2nd place in the AFC South at the end of tonights game. I didn't rearrange teams based on winning percentage, I did it based on how many wins teams have. One team tonight will have five wins and move to the other group and will be leading the AFC South.

No, I'm not worried about the Chiefs. The Texans already have the tiebreaker over them, and they haven't really beaten a good team yet (SD, CLE, SF, Jac, Buf). Just pointing out that the teams who have better records than the Texans are all beatable.

San Diego's a damn good team on offense and defense. Their special
teams has been a disaster, which cost them losses. No Texans fan
has any evidence to call Jacksonville a bad team. The Jags have pretty
much completed their rebuilding process on both sides of the ball. They
get no home support, and still are always in the playoff race.

I guarantee you if Jack Del Rio gets fired, he's got another head coach
job immediately.

I didn't call Jville or SD a bad team, did I? Look at the standings and the best team KC has beaten is Jacksonville who is 4-4. San Diego is 3-5, and has already lost to Oakland, KC, Sea, STL, etc.. I still believe SD can come back and win their division, they just haven't played good football to this point. :kitten:
