Okay, who you pounding the table for?

OT is gonna die on the Donovan Jackson hill, and BB is gonna die on the Fanin and Grant hill.

I like certain guys and have some favs but I don’t fall in love with any single prospect. I like Booker more than most…but I’m not about to swear he’s the next coming of Larry Allen.
Yes and Donovan Jackson does not have to be Larry Allen to be successful.

Want to evaluating an NFL player, you not only look at his competition but also how he performed against said competition and also is body skills and his talents. From a small school perspective, I want a player to dominate his opponent or if in a skilled position have overwhelming stats.
Example: Harold Fannin Bowling Green or Charles Grant William and Mary.
Yeah, Fannin dogged the Aggies and had a good game vs Penn St

Only about 48 hrs out from round 1 I'm still not feeling it, so I want that wiry little gumba to
go in there to GB like he did 2 years ago in KC and flash those big nutz and take over the Draft.
Make it happen Nicko !

Wish he was and Caserio drafted him though.
I would love to see DJ in a Texans uniform.
I have a feeling KB is going to come within range around 20-22 and NC might pull the trigger and go get him.
I can smell it.
Not trying to toot my own trumpet here but I had a very strong feeling that Nick would go after WA as well - I'm getting the same vibes with Banks

I think "Nicko" is already used by a player on the team. :winky:

I would definitely give up 1-25 and a 2026 2nd for Conerly. I might even give up a 2026 1st to move into the top 15 for him. I like him that much and if he can play LG that would be optimal. He definitely has the feet to be able to pull and can hit his targets on the 2nd level. He's a big dude, so he should be able to atleast hold up against power when it comes to bull rushes. Last yrs LG play has everybody around here traumatized.
Connerly will be there when they draft. I don't think we would be having this discussion had the signed Becton or James Daniels for the pennies they got. I mean Daniels got 3yrs 24m and Becton got 10m per. That's basically the same price as Autry and the dt who came back.

I wanted Mekhi Becton also.
Would have eased a lot of pressure on the Oline drafting philosophy

I'm with porky.....I'm on the booker train. His aggression is exactly what this oline needs

Welcome to the fan club party of two.

Thst said, while I don’t think Banks makes it to 25, if he does and they stay put, I’ve got Banks > Booker > Egbuka > D Jackson > Golden in that order. That’s if all of those guys are sitting there…very unlikely.

No Conerly for me. Not at 25. And definitely no Simmons. I’d add Loveland but I just see no path for him to get to 25 and they aren’t trading up for a TE. I think the only guys they might trade up for are Banks and Booker.

Two days until the draft. Tricky Nick hopefully has a plan that includes fixing that ******* offensive line. I am going to be majorly pissed if they don't take an olineman with their first or second pick.

Is Irv Smith Jr project over? Is it to late to try to tap the upside he showed at Alabama? I mean he was was 44 for 710 and 7tds his last year. That's better that Loveland whom everyone wants as a te. Why haven't the OJ Howard and Irv Smith Jr types worked out?

In the late, late rounds I will be pounding the table for Jackson Hawes, TE, Georgia Tech. Easily the best blocker in this TE class and can be a safety valve for CJ. Probably not going to be a YAC guy, but he'll open up the running game
I'm actually starting to see Hawes' name across multiple forums, so I hope they don't wait until it's to late. Last year I 'mocked' Tip Reiman in the 4th and noted that I thought it was an overdraft... Turns out that the Cardinals drafted him in the 3rd and he had a heck of a year.

Reiman was a much better athlete.

Irv is over, injuries contributed to him not working out.
