We all just sat around the campfire of our broken football dreams singing Kumbaya while strumming out of tune guitars with an accompanying section of bagpipes, while a man who didn't want to be here traded away all of our best players for a ticket to Alabama. We were of one mind, one heart, one grief. And, in hindsight, we were all really waiting for the arrival of The Stroud King and in our heart of hearts, we all really wanted to draft him because we knew he would be the savior of the franchise but we were afraid to hope, so we denied him.

Ah.

So peaceful.

Those were the good old days.

Such a glorious time to be alive.
