Week 10: Texans vs Bengals. Can we pull off the Upset?

All the talk about D folding, bad decision making or whatever is poor, I feel. This is a good team we just beat on the road. I’d say it may have been 4 years since we last beat a good team, even when OB was threatening to create a good team we weren’t good against good teams. This is a huge moment. Our coaching staff overcame some huge injury losses to win this one, yes Chase was quiet and Higgins was absent, it’s still a good team and a huge win for the Texans here. Maybe key in our chances of making the playoffs.

If they do pull off the upset I may have to join the opposing teams forums and begin the "We cant lose" chants as if Im one of them the rest of the season.

Well, looks like I have to come up with a name for opposing teams message boards now.

I didn’t like the way Slowick called off his offense. The Bengals have far too many offensive weapons to make an assumption that you could burn up the clock with the run game. Been going too conservative on defense….and then there’s a decision on offense to try and run out the clock. Can’t do that when a defense becomes fully aware that they’re no longer having to face the passing game that’s killed them all game and could now stack the box to stop the run.

This team was in a position to put up over 600+ yards up on the Bengals and they decided to stop themselves. Ryans and his coaching staff need to think a bit like the 1986 Bears and put all their faith in this team for 4 quarters instead of 3 or 3.5 quarters.

Okay…..got that off my chest. Hellava win today and should propel this team with their amazing offense into some serious playoff talk. GO TEXANS!!!!!
 
In all seriousness. I LOVE DESHAUN WATSON!!!

If that man didn't have a vice for massages and hadn't demanded a path out..... we would not have CJ Stroud at QB.

All the ill I spoke of DW is now replaced with a genuine fondness... the BEST play he ever made as our QB wss... to get out of the way and make us keep searching.
 
Easily the best rushing performance this season, most in a game since week 16 2021 vs the Chargers.
Singletary with a career high 150 yards. More importantly averaging 5.0 YPC.

And Noah Brown. How about 13 catches for 325 yards the last 2 games, 172 today? Wow!!

Sucks they blow a 10 point lead with less than 4 minutes to go, but if an opponent leaves CJ Stroud some time they’re probably going to regret it.

Got one I didn’t expect them to get. Makes up a little for dropping the Carolina game. Schedule looks very favorable the rest of the way. Playing meaningful football in December again? Let’s go!!
